Author: Contrary to popular belief, the decision to carry motor vehicle insurance is actually mandatory in most countries for a number of reasons. The most popular reason of course is that one would lose their motor vehicle license if they were to find themselves pulled over by law enforcement without any type of insurance. This is more than enough motivation for an individual to carry insurance for their motor vehicle, but would you believe that there is even more?
If you were driving your vehicle on a public road and then managed to collide with someone, then you would need to call your insurance company and determine whether or not they could pay the damages. No matter what type of insurance you have, you can usually count on them to pay for the damage so long as it is straightforward. If you are not carrying insurance however, it will be up to you to pay these damages, especially if you are at fault.
One thing to note is that payments are not the only thing you need to worry about. If you find yourself in a wreck without 
insurance the police will generally become involved and they will ask to see your insurance card. You may not lose your license on the spot, but you will at a later time. Luckily, it’s not incredibly difficult to obtain insurance.
The best way to get yourself insured is by running an online search and you will find that there are many different types of car insurance that you might take advantage of. For instance you could look into driving school insurance foe your little driver to be, or you might take a look at convicted driver insurance.
If you are a convict of any type then you know precisely how difficult it can be to transition back into the real world. The hardest part is finding people who will give you a chance, but in spite of that you will still need to carry car insurance. Convict insurance is offered by a few companies and you will be able to find it rather easily. It might be a bit more expensive than your standard insurance, but on the bright side you can actually get insurance.
